We are here...

An update since I have not done one in a while...

It has been a rough few weeks here and tonight we are here, but exhausted. Earlier this week S's grandmother passed away after suffering from a stoke two weeks prior. In the past six weeks we have lost both his grandparents and I know that tonight S is just hanging on and very much enjoying his Guatemala Rum so he can sleep tonight.

D is playing baseball this Spring. The games have started and the first game was a little hard to watch. Although, tonight the boys were really getting into it and only a few kids needed to hit off the tee-which made the innings go much quicker. I would much rather sit at a soccer game than baseball, at least in soccer they are always on the move...

Speaking of soccer, little C wanted "to be a game player like D'D." He loves soccer so we signed him up for summer soccer. He already has the head bump thing down (although tonight he tried doing it with a football) so not sure he really gets it. But at this age it is just about looking super cute in the uniform so mommy can get some pics and he can run around long enough to use up a little bit of energy. Both totally warranted the hefty price tag in which you pay for a 3 year old to play soccer.

And more on little C...we are now a diaper free house and this is very much a reason to celebrate. As I write this he sleeping in the last diaper in the house tonight. He has been dry at night for a few weeks now, so tomorrow we are totally FREE.

Both boys are almost done with school this year. Only one month left and Kindy will be a thing of the past and C will be off to two days of preschool next year. It really does go too fast.
