more summer fun

This week started with a post VBS flu bug, which landed C a visit to the dr. because of croup. The germs left us later in the week and we enjoyed some great summer fun.

We finally made it to the sprinkler park down the street. D loved it, C sat on the side most of the time contemplating the idea of getting wet. Right as we were getting packed up he decided to be brave.

Later that day we packed a picnic dinner and set off for Symphony on the Prairie. We heard the music of Michael Cavanaugh and his Billy Joel tribute. Awesome! If you ever have a chance to hear this young man, you will not be disappointed. S and I plan to get tickets for next June when he opens his new tour with the ISO. D was great entertainment while he performed his "dance" for all those around us. S has video on his phone that I will try to upload. I have not laughed that hard in a long time, it was pee in your pants funny to watch D dance!

Saturday we headed to the Fort to celebrate grandma's 90th.
Here are the boys with a few of the other great grandchildren.
