D really wanted to swim, but I thought the water (and the air) where a little too cold.
C's first time to the beach and he hit the sand running...right into the water. We had to hold him back. He loved the sand and being at the beach. This picture says "pure joy" and that moment will be with me forever.

Our set up at the sand volleyball court. Hey, when you're handed lemons....make lemonade.

This man is a little ice cream thief. He managed to take the one we were "sharing" and Grandma's.
The last day was by far the coldest so we spent it indoors at the Naples Conservancy. A wonderful place for our very inquisitive and science centered young man. He had his own personal tour guide (John) who took to D and loved showing him around. Here he is touching a snake. One of my favorite things about D is that he does not hesitate to jump right in. Here he joined a 1st grade class on a tour and was asking and answering questions with the seven year olds. How we knew that a glass bottle would never break down in the ocean is beyond me.
