C-Walking, Talking and Giving Hugs

Well, almost walking! C takes one or two steps between me and the coffee table or wherever he wants to go. He is always up and wants to walk so badly. With this new development we hear him crying and whining "ma ma" a ton. I am not complaining though, there is nothing more wonderful than hearing him say "ma ma" even if it is just so he can use my legs to balance on. And then there is his voice, which he seems to have really found this past month. Our once quiet and laid back boy is now very vocal and getting into everything. He loves to talk and his new words are: Sau (Esau) his elephant and hi. The best part of our week has been C's new found affection for us all. He loves to give hugs and cuddle. We have seen his progress with attachment and bonding over the past months, but this has been his greatest milestone in this area. To be able to come to us for comfort and in turn, give it back is a significant sign that he has attached to us. I can toss all the other milestones away. The first time he hugged me brought me to tears, more so than the day we met him.
